Today the Human was muttering something about 'spring cleaning', and he completely turned our house upside down. Without asking our permission first, of course. The Worst Thing is when he takes out the loud box and begins dancing with it. . .all over the floor. We go hide in the other room. Sooner or later, he starts to dance toward that room and we have to go to the ultra-super-secret hiding places that he doesn't know about. Every cat should have ultra-super-secret hiding places. I like to hide behind the rack of little rectangular things under the stereo cabinet. Bonkers likes to hide behind the tree in the front room. (She is not imaginative at all)
About the only thing we approve of is that the Human cleaned our beds. . .which left them with that clean fresh smell. Then he tried to make it all better by pulling our toys back out and dragging the squeaky mouse all around. Like that's gonna make up for everything else. Sometimes he is so dense.
Miss Daisy
I, too, like to hide from the sucky monster. I mean, I know it's eating the crap off the floor, but I'm not convinced it doesn't also have a taste for kitties... Better safe than sorry...

We did away with the big sucky monster when we moved here. All tile floors, you see. But we have a little mini monster that gets used sometimes. Usually for *ahem* kitty furrs.
Actually mama used it on my furrs once. It was *gulp* kinda nice.
Just saying hi. I am brandi.

I just found your blog and had a good laugh reading your posts. I especially liked reading about the "ultra-super-secret hiding place" your cats have. I'm pretty sure most cats have one. My cat (whose name is Max also) loves the deepest recesses of my closet.
