I've been in the process of writing a post, but have hit writer's block. In the meantime, I can report that my area received about 6-8 inches of snow.
I love snow. It reminds me of my growing up years in New England. We seldom get a decent storm down here in the south. And work is closed today. . .the first time in over 5 years. Guess it is play time. .

Looks fantastic!
I've not really had writers' block - just a lack of time and energy and material.
But I have been best man recently and the speech-writing process was long and arduous, but ultimately rewarding.
I think there's another four weddings to go to this year yet. None of which involves me speaking, which is a relief.
So besides writerly blockage, how are you?

That's right. . .best man. How did that go? Did you get the speech worked out? Weddings can be fun.
I'm doing well. . .mainly working. I've missed talking with you. Will have to remember to log onto googletalk as well as FB.

Best-manning was a blast, the speech came together in the end, and I got given a lovely bottle of bourbon as thanks for the best-manitude.
Glad you're okay, I'll try and be online a bit more - and maybe get used to the whole facebook chat thing...
